How do I plan my lessons?
I take an individual approach to every student. In the first lesson, I focus on identifying the child's strengths and the specific areas where they struggle. My lessons are not based on rigid templates; they are adapted to the child’s current pace and energy level. For first graders, I alternate between blocks of focused work (writing, reading) and short, playful breaks combined with hand-relaxation exercises (graphomotor skills).
​My approach to motivation and assessment:
I strongly believe in positive motivation. Instead of highlighting mistakes with a red pen, I focus on what the child has done well and build on that foundation. It is crucial for me that the child experiences a sense of achievement, which motivates them to continue working. I respect individual learning styles – some children need to see things in pictures, while others need to "experience" the information through stories or hands-on activities.
