About me

My name is Marcela and I am a mother of two young children. I have many years of experience with childcare, both personal and professional.

At the age of eighteen, after finishing high school, I moved to England where I worked for two years as an au-pair. I took care of two children (about 4 and 6 years old) – Oliver and Emma. During my stay, I also continued my studies and obtained the FCE certificate in English.

After returning home, I completed my university degree in leisure-time pedagogy and later also special education (lifelong learning program). In addition, I have a small part-time position in social services, working with people with intellectual disabilities.

I would like to offer babysitting ideally to someone in my neighbourhood – I live near metro Háje, right by the entrance to the Hostivař Forest Park. I would be babysitting together with my daughter Anežka (she will be 2 in December), who is used to being around children, is very social, and benefits from being present during babysitting.

I follow a respectful, gentle approach to childcare – with kindness, patience, and clear boundaries. I enjoy spending time outdoors with children, truly in any weather. If I babysit a child from the nearby area, we can spend time in the Hostivař Forest Park, where we go very often. I love nature, running, and an active lifestyle overall.

Babysitting at my home is also possible – we have plenty of toys, books, activities, and a space arranged specifically for children. We can also spend most of our time outside, depending on your child’s needs and our agreement.

I offer a warm and individual approach, reliability, and extensive experience with children of different ages and needs.
