About me

Hello, dear parents. My name is Veronika and I graduated in psychology from Palacký University in Olomouc. I am now finishing my master's studies, where I am currently focusing my interest on child psychology and adolescence. I am a loving aunt to my ten nieces and nephews, with whom I often spend my free time - so I have many years of babysitting experience :). I also have experience in leading a scout troop, I participated in a summer camp twice as an instructor, and during high school I completed a three-year program in experiential education. I also worked as an instructor in a rope park, where I accompanied children many times through various challenges and crisis situations, in which they faced their fears and themselves.
I like to spend my time with children in pretty much any way. I prefer to adapt to the child's unique personality and interests, to what they enjoy. We can go for a walk in the park, play musical instruments, paint, create, play sports. It is important that the given activity brings joy to the child. I’m also a yoga teacher, and I love practicing yoga with childern and with parents as well ☺️.
In terms of tutoring, it is essential for me to look for a way to look at the subject in a fun way and work on the child's intrinsic motivation to learn - and thus work on a real, deeper understanding of the material being discussed.
Working with each child is both a challenge and an enrichment for me. I can provide children with a kind, individual approach, based on respect and healthy communication.
