Since childhood, I have kept small rodents, fish, cats. I helped on a farm where there are small birds, rodents, horses, ponies, goats, pigs, ducks and chickens. Later, I had budgies, a royal boa constrictor, a pit bull, a Staffordshire bull terrier, a German shepherd at home and now I have an English bull terrier, a smooth-haired guinea pig and 3 European cats. Sometimes I look after an Argentinean dogo, so the size does not matter to me. I also provided security for a Maine coon kitten when the family went on a 14-day vacation. My English isn't the best, but so far it's always been manageable.
The only things I really don't want to be afraid of are scorpions and spiders. Unfortunately, I have a panic attack from them, so it would put me and your family member at risk. My English isn't the best, but so far it's always been manageable.
