About me

I started working as a caregiver in a nursing home at the age of 19, right after I graduated from high school. I worked there for 1.5 years. I got this job thanks to my grandparents, whom I took care of in the last months of their lives. Then I went to college to study journalism, where I found out that journalism was not my field. So I went back to working in social services. I currently work as a field caregiver. I have a driver's license and my own car. So I don't have a problem getting anywhere. In my previous job I worked mainly with Alzheimer's and dementia. I have a lot of experience with anxious and depressed people.
I consider myself to be a very talkative and cheerful person and can handle anything. In the last year I have completed my social worker course. In the next few months I am going to start a course as an activator for the elderly. I am not a nurse or a psychologist, but I am just someone who loves this job and wants to help those who need it the most.
