About me

I’m a university-educated marketing professional who loves children so much that, after trying out work as a hospital orderly during COVID, I left my full-time advertising job to become a teacher in a Czech-English children’s group (kindergarten) in Prague’s Vinohrady. I spent two years there and then another year in a private kindergarten.

Given teacher salaries and my active lifestyle, I couldn’t afford to do this full-time for long, so I (at least for now) returned to marketing. But my love for children has stayed with me, and I want to continue spending time with them. I don’t have my own children yet.

I hold an accredited babysitting course for children from 6 months old and a medical course from 2023. I believe I could provide positive references from all the parents who entrusted their children to me, both in kindergartens and during private babysitting, and I’d be happy to share some of them with you.

I consider myself very empathetic, patient, and kind. I take a respectful approach, treating each child as a unique personality, and I tailor our time together to what they enjoy or feel like doing at the moment. That said, I have no problem motivating children to learn together or prepare for school.
