I graduated from a four-year grammar school in Prague, which gave me a solid overview of various subjects. I am currently studying at Charles University at the Faculty of Education, specifically in the fields of Physical Education and Basics of Social Sciences. In my free time, I enjoy doing sports—I play floorball professionally, which has also given me experience in coaching children in youth categories.
I started babysitting mainly thanks to my teaching internships at school, for which I am very grateful, as I discovered that I enjoy it and would like to continue doing it. Over the past year, I have mostly babysat children of family friends. Since I have a younger sister, I’ve been used to looking after children from a young age.
I get along well with children of different ages. I was a bit of a difficult child myself, so I know how to work with most kids and understand them. I also enjoy helping with schoolwork—for example, I still often help my sister with Czech language (mainly grammar and writing). I enjoy all kinds of games, I help children stay active, go on walks, or simply offer them emotional support. Children often want someone to talk to or ask for advice, so I try to be a friend they can rely on and who will help them.
I experienced bullying in elementary school myself, which makes me empathetic toward children and motivates me to create a safe environment where they—and their parents—can trust me. My approach is based on respect, a positive attitude, understanding, and, most importantly, fun.
