About me

Hello!
I'm Frederika, I've completed three years of study at a secondary school of pedagogy in the field of preschool and extracurricular pedagogy and I'm currently continuing to my graduation year.
I got to work with children for the first time when I started helping as a ranger in our scout. From the age of 15, I looked after my friends kids as needed and than more regularly from the age of 16.
I also have experience in assisting blind children. For over three years, I worked as an assistant for a visually impaired boy. In addition to direct assistance, the work also included administration and communication with foundations, which gave me the opportunity to learn organization and planning.
Working with children is fun and fulfilling, so I try to educate myself as much as possible. In addition to studying pedagogy and psychology at secondary school, which also includes professional teaching practice in kindergartens, I also educate myself however I can. I read books, listen to podcasts, watch webinars. I am interested in alternative methods of children peducation (Montessori, Nevýchova, Začít spolu, etc.) In the fall of 2023, I completed accredited Montessori courses - Montessori basics 3-6 years from Žijeme montessori, where I learned not only how to work with a lot of montessori tools, but also how to have calm and respectful approach to children. In the spring of 2024, I took part in accredited first aid courses for children from První pomoc info, which my school mediated.
In my free time, I like to go out with my friends, watch a series, open a book or write my own stories. My family and I are tourist-oriented, so we often go on treks or even just one-day trips, or I like to stretch with yoga.
I have an open, friendly, kind and, above all, respectful approach to children, which allows me to be close to children and at the same time to set adequate boundaries with them.

Availability

Většinou jsem celý týden v Praze. Ve všední dny končím v pozdějších odpoledních hodinách ve škole v Hostivaři, popřípadě vždy o hodinu později jsem dostupná i na Letné. Mám možnost hlídat i do pozdních nočních hodin dle domluvy. O víkendech jsem dostupná od ranních/dopoledních hodin až do večera/noci dle domluvy. Od září budu nedostupná středy od 19:30-22:00.
