About me

Welcome to my profile.

I am 26 years old and I work as a project manager at the marketing agency Czech Promotion, where I joined at the beginning of 2024. Before that, I helped at a dog shelter in Turkey for a month. And then a few more days in Romania. And how did I get there? Like this...all my life I have been a lover of all animals and a great fighter for their rights. I have grown up with cats since I was a child, so I know that even if it is not easy with them, they are loves. I moved from Písek to Opava for school, then to work in Prague. So I only see the cats a few times a year when visiting. Sometimes, luckily, I could fill my days with petsitting the sweetest chihuahua that belongs to a friend. And that's how I live my life in Prague, until I started to feel that I was missing something in it, that it just wasn't the same. I wanted to travel. I wanted to help, preferably animals. So I contacted the shelter in Turkey, packed my suitcase, bought a plane ticket and that was it. Welcome to Palamut. A village next to which there is a shelter with 70 dogs. With dogs from the street, with dogs that lived on a short chain in local "shelters", with dogs that someone shot or even with those whose history is unknown, but it was certainly not nice. Daily feeding, walking, cleaning, gaining trust and cuddling. Especially the cuddling. And then Romania. Same process. Just more puppies.

Well, what will I do with your dog in Prague? I have a dog-friendly job in Karlín (Křižíkova stop) and I live not far from Stromovka, so I can have my dog friend all day. I will talk to him, I will pet him, I will enthusiastically tell everyone about him, I will protect him in the jungle of Prague public transport and strange people, and I will walk through all the parks with him. And with joy.

What I would like to know about the of the dog/pet

I would definitely like to know if there are any things not to do. It can be anything, some movements, intonations, etc. How the dog reacts when he is startled by something. How to get him back at ease when he gets scared/stressed out. How does he handle other dogs. How is he related to cats? What commands can he do. Is there a place to watch out for and not touch? Can I take him to work, is he friendly to people? Can it be free at work among people (open space)?

Languages

Čeština and English
