About me

Animals have been a natural part of my life since I was 11 years old. We always had a dog at home, along with other pets such as cats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, and budgies. Their presence brings me joy, and I value it deeply and respectfully.

From a young age, I have loved the company of dogs. I understand them, their body language, and their subtle signals. My approach is respectful and gentle — I do not punish or shout. I believe in kind yet clear communication and in respecting the uniqueness of each dog’s personality. Dogs are not just animals I care for; they are beings I enjoy spending time with, fully present and attentive to their needs.

Throughout my life, I have lived with many different dog breeds — from small dachshunds, spitzes, and poodles to a medium-sized Canarian Podenco, and later two Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs. All of them were full members of our family. Especially the wolfdogs taught us deep lessons in patience, calm and clear communication, non-punitive guidance, and respect for the individuality of each dog. The last one passed away this summer, but everything they taught me stays with me.

I love long walks in nature and forests with dogs — the movement, the silence, and the joy they bring into simple moments. Their presence reminds me of authenticity, simplicity, and the joy of life. I care deeply about dogs feeling safe, calm, and balanced, with a peaceful nervous system and that joyful spark in their eyes.

I share the same close bond with cats. I currently live with four cats who are used to dogs and are tolerant toward them as well as other members of the household. They do not have aggressive or bullying personalities and live harmoniously together.

I will gladly and wholeheartedly take care of your beloved pet, because I know how hard it can be when you cannot be with them yourself. I look forward to meeting your animals, spending quality time with them, taking them outdoors, and giving them the attention and care they need.

What I would like to know about the of the dog/pet

I provide calm, respectful, and non-punitive care for pets. For the wellbeing of all animals under my care:

I cannot care for dogs with ongoing aggressive behavior toward people or other animals.

Dogs with a strong prey drive toward cats, or who cannot safely coexist with other animals, will need to stay outdoors. I have four resident cats who are tolerant and welcoming, but their peace and safety is my priority.

I do not take dogs who frequently escape, jump fences, or run away – safety is my top priority.

I do not take dogs that respond only to electric collars. I do not use electric collars during walks or while caring for pets.

I avoid harsh or stressful training methods; I focus on gentle, clear, and loving communication.

This ensures a calm, joyful, and safe environment for all pets in my care.
