I started pet‑sitting dogs and cats a little over two years ago. It began as a spontaneous idea with my then‑partner — we wanted to try out what it really means to take care of a pet before getting one ourselves. In the end, neither the pet nor the partner stayed in my life… but my love for pet‑sitting (and for the furry friends themselves) definitely did.
