I offer dog sitting in my home in Prague 6. I live in the apartment with my husband and a friendly female dog, so it is important that your dog gets along well with female dogs. We would also need to introduce the dogs beforehand, for example during a short walk.

I have a background in canine behavior and work as a therapy dog handler as well as a researcher at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, where I am completing my PhD. My work focuses primarily on animal-assisted services and human-animal interactions. In my approach to dogs, I rely on ethical, science-based methods that minimize stress and support a positive bond between dogs and people.

My job allows me to work from home, if needed, and I can also take the dog with me, depending on their individual needs and abilities. This means I can spend most of the boarding time with your dog and provide attentive, loving, and professional care.

A great advantage is the proximity of large parks such as Ladronka, Břevnov Monastery Gardens, and Hvězda, where we regularly go for walks. During hot summer days, and with your permission, we may also take your dog to our cottage in South Bohemia, where they can enjoy a quieter environment and cooler weather.

The base price is 1100 CZK per 24 hours.

- What breed is your dog, and what are their sex and age?
- Do they get along well with female dogs at home environment?
- How do they typically react to other dogs (both males and females) on walks?
- Do they have any allergies or medical conditions?
- Should they always be walked on a leash / long line, or can they be off-leash in appropriate areas?
- How reliable is their recall?
- Are they allowed on the bed or sofa?
- Can they stay home alone during the day? If so, for how long? Do you use a crate when leaving them alone?
- Are they comfortable traveling? If so, what forms of transportation are they used to?
- Is there anything specific I should know to help them feel comfortable during their stay?
- Do they have any unusual sensitivities or reactions (e.g. to handling, noises, bicycles, children, runners, cats, wildlife, being left alone etc.)?
- Is there anything else I should know that might surprise me or help me provide the best possible care?
