I spent almost every weekend and summer vacation at my grandmother's and grandfather's, where we spent time talking, my grandmother was an incredible storyteller of events from her life and also fairy tales. During the summer we went for mushrooms and long walks, we grew vegetables in the garden, then after the season we stored everything. We also looked after and fed all the poultry and rabbits. I always felt like I was in paradise at their place, because it was cheerful, every neighbor and friend had an open door. I don't remember that the grandmother ever raised her voice or forbade us to do something, in short, she was a grandmother like from a fairy tale.
Overall, I have a positive relationship with the elderly, because they are people with an interesting life story and often all you have to do is smile at them and say hello.
