I recently finished university in London, and currently hold degrees in biomedical sciences and cancer biology- I work in scientific research (in the laboratory, not directly with patients). I have a basic first aid qualification, and attended first aid courses for children.
My biggest passion in my field is improving the quality of life for patients suffering with age related conditions. Volunteering in elderly care (FN Motol) taught me to treat patients with kindness and empathy, and distract them from their healing process. While visiting the hospital, I have learned the importance of delivering high quality patient care, and treating every individual patient with the utmost respect and the compassion they deserve. I have experience with caring for a family member with Alzheimer's. This experience has taught me patience and understanding for the condition and the challenges faced by families- I am definitely happy to help out families caring for a loved one.
