About me

My name is Petr, I have been caring since a young age.
In 1993 - 1996 I took care of my grandfather, he was 70 years old, he suffered from severe diabetes, he was bedridden for 20 years after a stroke and was completely immobile, so taking care of him was quite demanding physically. Before the stroke, he suffered a serious injury at work, after which his legs were screwed and this prevented him from walking. My grandfather's care mainly involved maintaining hygiene, helping with the "little and big side", giving medicine, cooking, feeding - serving food. Furthermore, shopping, serving things and after a stroke he also had to wear diapers, thus changing diapers and positioning – turning against bedsores. In 2008 – 2012 I took care of my grandmother, she was 83 years old. Caring for my grandmother involved 24-hour care, she suffered from Alzheimer's, senile dementia and diabetes. She was incontinent, so she had to wear diapers. Next, there was the administration of medicines, ensuring hygiene (bathing), transferring from a wheelchair to a bed. As a man, I was also able to manage the running of the household, i.e. doing laundry, cooking and shopping, walking, serving things and accompanying to the doctor. In 2013 – 2015 I took care of my son Lukášek, he was 14 years old. My son had a terminal illness, cancer - Ewing's Sarcoma, he was in a wheelchair and his care required round-the-clock supervision - administration of medicines, administration of injections and bathing. After his health worsened, he was mostly bedridden, so he had to be given "pheasant" and had to wear diapers. I also transferred my son from his wheelchair to his bed, treated bedsores and accompanied him to various examinations, including hospitalization. And last but not least, my task was also to take care of the household, as I have already mentioned in the previous two cases of my grandfather and grandmother.
I have a positive relationship with seniors and children, I am reliable, serious, patient, hardworking, docile, adaptable, flexible, clever, punctual, willing, without conflict, communicative, I like to learn new things, I get along with completely different opinions and people. I handle stressful situations well, I cope with difficulties and I am a person who can be relied on.
My interests, hobbies cooking, housework, viticulture, fruit growing, orcharding, gardening, nature, travel, culture and history.
