My name is Dorota, and I am 23 years old. I graduated from a technical high school focused on mechanical engineering and later spent two years studying a bachelor’s program in pedagogical studies, specifically leisure-time education. This gave me a deeper understanding of working with children and their needs.

Since childhood, I have had a close relationship with movement and creativity. I have tried many activities such as majorettes, dancing, and gymnastics. I also played the piano for 5 years, have been playing the guitar for 8 years, and have experience with singing. Thanks to this, I enjoy singing, creating, and coming up with playful activities with children. In my free time, I like to stay active – I enjoy cycling, hiking, via ferrata climbing, and spending time with my dog.

I have been babysitting since I was 16 years old. I started by taking care of a one-year-old girl for a few hours a week, and later also her younger sibling, which often involved full-day care. We spent time outdoors at playgrounds, by the lake, or at home doing creative activities, dancing, and playing games. Later, through the Hlídačky platform, I gained experience caring for a one-year-old boy every weekday for 8 hours a day over the course of 3 months, as well as his 8-year-old sister.

I have practical experience with children approximately from 1 to 8 years old, but I naturally get along well with older children too. I approach each child individually, with respect, and aim to create a safe, calm, and playful environment where they feel comfortable.

I am responsible, empathetic, and reliable. For me, it is important not only to keep children entertained, but also to build a genuine connection with them and be someone they feel safe and comfortable with. I am happy to adapt to the needs of each family and believe we can always find a rhythm that works well together.
