Hi, my name is Katarína, and working with children has always been a natural part of my life.
I have two children who are now older, and it was through raising them that I gained my first hands-on experience in childcare. Over time, I began caring for other children in my circle, and it naturally grew into something that brings me a deep sense of purpose.
Today, I run my own business in the field of personal development and also lead children’s music groups (African drumming), where I support kids in expressing themselves, building confidence, and developing their natural talents. Babysitting is a complementary activity for me—one that I truly value, because working with children is always an investment in the future.
I care deeply about the environment children grow up in. In today’s world, they are heavily influenced by digital technologies, which often impacts their mental and emotional wellbeing. That’s why I prefer a more natural, grounded approach—supporting children’s intuition, connection to nature and animals, healthy self-esteem, and the development of their unique gifts.
At the same time, I believe in clear structure and healthy boundaries. In my experience, these create a sense of safety and stability, allowing children to grow and express themselves freely within a secure environment.
I see time spent with children as something special and meaningful. I create a safe, nurturing space where children can feel comfortable being themselves, explore the world, and also come for comfort and support when they need it.
I am calm, attentive, and naturally caring. I quickly build trust with children and engage them in meaningful, creative activities that are both enjoyable and enriching.
My native language is Slovak, and I am also fluent in Czech.
