About me

My name is Terka, and working with children is not only a professional experience for me, but above all a joy and a natural part of my life. I graduated from a secondary school of education (pedagogical lyceum) and subsequently from a college specializing in special education. I will soon be starting college, where I will study psychology.

I have extensive practical experience with children. For several years, I served as a scout troop leader, where I developed and implemented programs, organized events, and oversaw activities for the children. I also regularly work as a counselor at school field trips, where I am responsible for a group of children throughout the day—from planning the schedule to supervising hygiene to providing care during meals and sleep.

I also have experience with individual babysitting, which I provided for families in my local community. Thanks to this, I have developed an individualized approach to each child and the ability to adapt to their needs.

During my studies, I completed internships at preschools and elementary schools, a diagnostic institute, a children’s and youth center, and the Jedlička Institute, which allowed me to gain experience with various age groups as well as children with special needs.

I regularly participate in organizing and carrying out seasonal programs for children, such as Easter, Children’s Day, Carnival, and Christmas parties.

I approach children with patience, responsibility, and respect. I strive to create a safe, calm, and playful environment where children feel comfortable and can develop naturally.

Během praxe jsem se zapojila do péče a výchovy dětí s různými omezeními a různými poruchami jako například poruchy artistického spektra, downův syndrom, zrakové vady, sluchové vady nebo psychické a neurotické poruchy jako jsou například úzkostné poruchy nebo poruchy příjmu potravy. Dále jsem se setkala s dětmi které byly tělesně postižené jako například imobilní nebo ochrnuté.
