About me
Hi, my name is Lucie, I am 26 years old, and I come from Prague 6. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and special education, and I am currently in my fifth year of General Medicine at the Second Faculty of Medicine.
I interact with children almost every day in the hospital, and in the future, I would like to specialize in child psychiatry. That is why I am already attending internships and gaining experience in this field. For the past two years, I have been working at a bilingual elementary school as an after-school teacher, where I lead (among other things) various extracurricular activities in both Czech and English – arts and crafts, painting, board games, Kahoot club, sports activities, and an emotional well-being club.
I have experience babysitting both Czech- and English-speaking children and have practice in leading children's groups. Thanks to my studies in psychology and medicine, I have a deep interest in child psychology, psychiatry, and neurology. I get along well with children, enjoy spending meaningful time with them, and support their development through play.
In my free time, I enjoy running, exercising, and dancing – I used to compete in athletics and dance. I also love reading and learning about topics that interest me. My studies take up most of my time, but spending time with children fulfills me and gives me positive energy.
