About me
Dear familly
My name is Dominika, I graduated from the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague.
My first experience with babysitting was in 2011, when I babysat a 2,5 year old girl Terezka and her 11 year old brother Pepa, who is mentally disabled, autistic, epileptic, does not speak and does not walk. Terezka was home-schooled and we studied together every day.
I used to babysit her in the evenings when her parents wanted to go out.
Over time, I became a member of their family and our friendship continues to this day.
In 2012, I babysat a 12-month-old boy named Jonah. It was harder with Jonah in the beginning, he started crying every time his mother left, but within a moment he was happy again. He also didn't want to be changed, but we always managed in the end. I used to babysit according to mummy's needs, usually three times a week for 4 hours in the morning, but sometimes I would babysit for the whole week and sometimes it would stretch into the afternoon.
After finishing my bachelor's degree I went to the English island of Jersey as an au pair. I spent six months there. I stayed with an Indian family and looked after two little girls, Zoe was one and a half and Zara was four and a half. They were both wonderful. My schedule was that every morning at seven o'clock I would go and prepare the girls' breakfast and meals for school or nursery. Zoe went to preschool three days a week. After breakfast the girls went to brush their teeth and get dressed. I helped Zara to get dressed for school, which was often a superhuman task, as she had no thoughts to get dressed, but she would prefer to play and watch cartoons, so you can probably imagine how it looked :-). Anyway, we always got through it together. Mommy took them and I went to clean up after breakfast. Then I had the afternoon off before I went to pick Zoe up from nursery. When Zoe didn't go to daycare, we played. After lunch, I put Zoe to sleep. When Zoe fell asleep, I went to iron, fold laundry... I didn't clean the apartment because they had cleaners. I tidied up the girls' toys, helped Mummy prepare dinner and washed the dishes after cooking. After dinner, I gave the girls a bath, dressed them in their pajamas and brushed their teeth. I did everything that was necessary and what is done in families with children :-).
After returning from Jersey I looked after Valerie, 7 years old, preschooler. I would go pick her up from preschool and we would either play on the playground or go home. Then after a while, mommy came home. I also babysat her when she was sick. Before graduating from college I was babysitting two boys, 3 year old Honzik and 8 year old Tomas. Before school started, I babysat both of them and then just Honzik. It was in the summer, so we went to the playground.
And then I started to work in January 2016, I was working as a quality manager in a food company, but the work wasn't fulfilling me, so I went back to babysitting.
I quit my job and started babysitting right away, it was in May 2016 with a family with an 8 month old girl and a 3 year old boy. I wanted to work full time so I switched to a family who had three children (4 months, 2.5 years and 5 years). I spent most of my time with the 4 month old baby, fully caring for her. I also went on trips with the boys, just the older two. My family loaned me a car, I planned the trip and we were good to go. I also went to clubs with the boys and did whatever was needed. I was with my family for 10 months.
After my maternity leave in 2023, I did a nanny course and worked as a nanny in a children's group.

Moc milá a spolehlivá slečna, která si našeho téměř tříletého syna ihned získala, a to má syn s cizími lidmi obvykle problém. Velmi doporučuji.
