Hi! I'm Kimia, an English and Kindergarten teacher with 5 years of teaching experience and 3+ years working with young children in a kindergarten setting. I'm also currently babysitting a little boy on a regular basis and have worked with various families, so I'm very much in the rhythm of childcare.
I genuinely love working with kids, and I care about how they feel and not just what they do. They’re so passionate about everything, and they always want to explore the world around them. Therefore, I want them to feel they’re in a loving and secure environment so they can explore. And I’m happy to help them develop their knowledge.
I always ensure that they take part in different activities, whether they are indoors or outdoors, depending on the child’s age and developmental level. For instance, I create activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, and gentle physical exercises.
I am familiar with the Montessori approach and I hold a certificate in Art for Kids, which helps me use creativity as a tool for learning and fine motor development.
Oh! and I naturally speak English with the kids, so they get a little language boost just by spending time with me! 😊
