About me

Hi there,

I hope this message finds you well! My name is Valerie, and I’m 21 years old. Currently, I’m in my second year of studying career counseling and education in Prague. I also did a course in assistant pedagogy, which I find incredibly rewarding.

My experience mainly comes from babysitting my younger sister and the children of family friends. It’s been a joy to care for them, and it has only deepened my desire to work with kids in the future. I truly love learning new things, and my favorite subject is psychology—I’ve taken several courses in that field, and each one has opened my eyes to new ideas.

I’m passionate about traveling and have recently spent a semester in Belgium through an Erasmus program, which was a fantastic experience. When I’m not studying, you’ll likely find me enjoying time at cafes, reading, or indulging in my love for theater and the arts. I frequently visit galleries and museums, as they inspire me. Growing up in a small village in the north of the Czech Republic has left me with a deep appreciation for nature; I love going for walks or hiking in the mountains whenever I can.

I speak Czech, English, and a bit of German, and I sometimes assist my father with his work on Altmarkets.
