About me

My name is Káťa and I am currently studying for a Master’s degree in Psychology at Masaryk University. Over time, not only through my studies, I have developed a very positive relationship with children, and working with them feels meaningful and fulfilling to me. I enjoy getting to know their world and supporting their curiosity, creativity, and joy in everyday things.

Over the past two years, I have also worked as an animator in a kids’ club abroad – one summer on the Greek island of Kos and another on Crete. Children came to the club every day, and we spent around five hours together playing games, doing crafts, dancing, and taking part in various movement activities. My summers were therefore full of painting, crafting, running around outside, and coming up with new games that the children would enjoy.

I really enjoy creative activities and often like coming up with new ideas for crafts or games. Since I was little, I also attended dance classes at an art school, so I still have a strong connection to movement and music. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, and I also love baking – both sweet and savory treats are quite common in my kitchen. 😊

Diabetes and Food Allergies

Má zkušenost s diabetem plyne od mého sourozence, který touto nemocí trpí. Dítě, které by mělo diabetes jsem dosud nehlídala, ale myslím si, že bych to vzhledem k tomu, v jak častém styku s touto nemocí jsem, zvládla.

Aktivně mluvím anglickým jazykem, tudíž jsem schopna v případě potřeby být pomocnou rukou při učení. Německý jazyk jsem měla jako druhý jazyk, tudíž jsem se ho učila přibližně 8 let. Po krátké pauze jsem se k němčině v poslední době vrátila, a tak doufám, že asistence s učením němčiny na úrovni základní školy by nebyla problém.
