About me

My name is Nikola, I’m 25 years old, and working with children is both a joy and a natural part of my life.

I have many years of experience caring for children – I’ve looked after my younger sister since she was a baby, starting when I was a teenager. During high school, I also worked as a babysitter in other families, often caring for three children at once (ages 2, 3, and 5). I’m now a mom to my 2.5-year-old son, Michael, with whom I spend every day learning, playing, and exploring the world. Together we attend children’s camps, where I work as a group leader and first aid officer. I hold an accredited First Aid Certificate from the Red Cross.

I’m fascinated by children’s authenticity, curiosity, and their ability to find joy in the little things. I love inspiring them, discovering the world alongside them, and supporting their natural interests. I believe that when children feel accepted and safe, they grow with ease and happiness. I put emphasis on cultivating a positive relationship with the world around us.

My approach is calm and respectful. I don’t see myself as someone who “raises” children from above, but rather as a guide who listens, encourages, and helps create a warm and trusting environment. We often spend time outdoors, get creative, sing songs, or simply let our imagination lead the way.

I’d love to connect with a family looking for a reliable, empathetic caregiver – either for regular or occasional babysitting. I’m open to various needs and situations – ideally regular care, but also occasional help or even a live-in au-pair style of cooperation (that would be amazing!!). If we’re the right fit for each other, my son and I would be happy to become a natural part of your household (in a separate room, caravan, etc.), helping out with daily routines like cooking, tidying up, and most importantly – creating a loving and supportive environment for your children (and us, the parents).
