About me

Dear parents,
My name is Andrea, but children simply call me “auntie.” :) I have been working as a caregiver in a children’s group for 8 years and have a first aid certification for children from the Red Cross. I have completed several trainings focused on sensory play and heart-centered parenting, so I always aim to foster children’s natural development and well-being in my work. I can provide certificates for these trainings if needed.

I see children as my little partners and always try to be patient, kind, and open. If a child needs help or a hug, I am more than happy to offer it. I believe in a respectful approach, which is the foundation of good care.

In my free time, I enjoy photography, working as a first aid responder at camps and outdoor schools, and teaching first aid for children. I also create sensory play materials using a 3D printer, which has proven to be great for fun and developmental activities for kids. I also run a small shop where I sell sensory play materials aimed at children’s development: |link hidden| .

I live in Prague 10, near the border with Prague 4, which makes it easy for me to travel around the city.

Regarding language skills, I have experience communicating in English, especially conversational English, which I have no problem with when working with children. When it comes to deeper communication with parents, I am still improving my English and sometimes look for the right words.

In addition, I have experience with bilingual families (Czech-German, Czech-English) and children at camps. I also have experience caring for children with allergies, asthma, or diabetes, and I know how important individual care is.
