About me
taught high school English, economics and fundamentals of philosophy for two years. I tutored my sons in various elementary school subjects. I also taught English in companies. When teaching, I first try to find out the student's level of knowledge and interests, and I adjust my teaching style accordingly. When teaching, I try to guide the student to think independently, To think, there is a lot to know and I consider rote learning a very valuable method (not the only one, of course), proven by centuries. Providing context is for me key in both teaching and learning. And the main thing, too, is that the student is not afraid to talk and write about the subject being taught (and teach it, too:-) - that's how one learns best.
